By booking a class through heartbeathavenlv.com or attending a Heartbeat Haven LLC (dba Heartbeat Haven LV) course, you agree to these terms.

What we do

We are an independent, AHA-aligned training site operated in Las Vegas, Nevada. We offer:

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) in-person Megacode

Cards are issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), not by us. We’re aligned with an AHA Training Center.

Booking & payment

Class fees are paid at the time of booking through Stripe. Prices listed on the site are the prices you pay. There are no hidden fees. For some courses (ACLS, PALS Heartcode, NRP), you must purchase an online module separately from AHA or AAP. Those costs are paid directly to AHA/AAP, not to us.

Cancellation & rescheduling

Governed by our Cancellation & Reschedule Policy. Summary: 24+ hours notice for individual classes = full refund; less = 50% credit; no-show = no refund. Group bookings have a 7-day window.

Prerequisites and qualifications

Some courses require active prerequisite certification (e.g. BLS for ACLS/PALS, NRP online module for NRP Megacode). You’re responsible for confirming you meet prerequisites before booking. If you arrive without required prerequisites, the class is treated as a same-day cancel under the cancellation policy.

Skills check and certification

To receive an AHA or AAP card, you must:

• Attend the full class (no partial attendance)
• Pass the written exam (if applicable to your course)
• Pass the skills check / Megacode

If you don’t pass on your first attempt, we work with you to remediate that day when time allows or schedule one free retake within 60 days. After that, re-registration is required.

Class content and medical disclaimer

Our classes teach AHA-aligned curriculum and the AAP NRP curriculum. They are designed to certify you to perform the techniques taught in real emergencies according to current guidelines. They are not a substitute for medical school, nursing school, EMS training, or clinical practice. We do not provide medical advice.

You are responsible for staying current on your own scope of practice and any updates to AHA/AAP guidelines that occur during your certification period.

Liability

By attending a class, you acknowledge that CPR and resuscitation training involves physical activity (kneeling, compressions, mannequin work). If you have a medical condition that may be aggravated by the activity, tell us before class starts. We can usually accommodate.

To the maximum extent allowed by Nevada law, our liability for any claim arising from a class is limited to the amount you paid for that class.

We are not liable for outcomes of your real-world emergency response after certification. The card means you completed the curriculum; it doesn’t guarantee any specific outcome in a real emergency.

Recording and photography

We do not photograph or record students during classes without consent. If we want to take a class photo or use any class footage for marketing, we’ll ask and you can decline.

Your conduct

We expect respectful behavior in class. Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe conduct (toward instructor, classmates, or equipment) will result in dismissal from class with no refund.

Intellectual property

The site content, course materials we author, and the Heartbeat Haven LV brand are owned by Heartbeat Haven LLC. AHA and AAP curriculum content is owned by those organizations and used under our alignment agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued booking after a change indicates acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Nevada law. Any disputes are resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
